The Nigeria Police Force has appointed ASP Henry Okoye as the new Imo State Police Command’s Police Public Relations Officer.

This was disclosed in a statement released on Friday by the PPRO who just stepped down, Michael Abattam.

Abattam was replaced by Okoye as the newly assigned Imo PPRO.

The new ASP is said to hail from Idenmili North Local Government Area in the state of Anambra.

Okoye obtained a First Class Honours (B.Sc.) in Mathematics from the famed Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil, Kano, in 2018.

Okoye was employed by the Oji River Divisional Police Headquarters, Enugu State Command, prior to his deployment as the Police Public Relations Officer in Imo State.
