Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly killed a yet-to-be-identified man when he was travelling with his family in Enugu State.
The State Police command Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe, confirmed the incident.
saying that the manhunt of the armed hoodlums and rescue of the kidnapped victims are underway.
It was learnt that the incident occurred on Sunday March 10, along Afa/Egede Road in Udi LGA Enugu State.
A sources said that the hoodlums attacked the family and killed the man at the spot while his wife and daughter were whisked away.
Speaking further on the incident, the PPRO said that the manhunt of the armed hoodlums and rescue of the kidnapped victims are underway.
“Manhunt of the armed men and rescue of the two reportedly abducted victims are ongoing. Further development will be communicated,” he said
