An ARISE TV News anchor, Rufai Oseni, has been arraigned before a Lagos Mobile Court for traffic infraction and fined N70,000.
Oseni, who had on Monday admitted he used the Bus Rapid Transport lane while going to work, was found guilty of contravening Lagos State Transport Law (2018).
The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Benjamen Hundeyin, said Oseni made the payment of the fine placed on him.
Hundeyin further disclosed that the journalist’s vehicle which was impounded when he committed the traffic infraction had been released to him.
He tweeted; ” Mr Rufai Oseni was in court earlier today. He was found guilty of contravening Lagos State Transport Law (2018). He was subsequently fined Seventy Thousand Naira Only. He made the payment, after which his vehicle was released to him.”
