Again, storey building collapses in Lagos, one dead

One person has been confirmed dead after a two-storey building collapsed on the Lagos Island area of Lagos State.
The incident occurred Saturday afternoon, PUNCH Metro gathered.
It was learnt that the building was under construction before its collapse.
According to an eyewitness, collapsed under the torrential rainfall at Freeman Road, Lagos Island.
It was also gathered that one person was rescued alive.
Earlier in May, a storey building collapsed at the Ago Palace area of Lagos just a few days after a three-storey building collapsed in the Ebute Metta area of the state, killing over 10 persons and injuring over 20 occupants.
Last year, a skyscraper had collapsed in the Ikoyi area of the state killing scores.
