Arrested Edo comedian released on bail

Comedian and Vlogger, Chukwu Emeka, who was arrested by the Department of State Services has been granted bail by the High Court of justice, sitting in Benin, the Edo State capital.
The mother of the comedian, Magaret Chukwu, confirmed the release of the comedian on Tuesday.
A lawyer, Matthew Osa-oghogho, also announced the release of the comedian known as Broda Mike.
“Today, the High Court of justice sitting in Benin released Comedian Emeka Chukwu Aka #BrotherMike to bail.
“He was arrested by the Department of State Services and accused of inciting the Public.
“The court agreed with our submission that the application for the remand of Mr. Chukwu is unmeritous and therefore admitted him to bail. We stand for justice always and at all times,” the lawyer posted and sharing a photo of himself and Broda Mike.
