Nathaniel Bassey prays Messi lifts World Cup
Gospel singer and minister, Nathaniel Bassey, has revealed that he wants Argentina’s captain, Lionel Messi, to win the on going FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The trumpeter, who is supports FC Barcelona made this known on his Twitter page on Tuesday by sharing a picture of Messi with the caption, “Father, please give Him the World Cup and silence his mockers”.
The Paris Saint Germain forward led his team to the Final of the tournament on Tuesday after defeating Croatia by three goals to nil.
Many football fans and pundits have predicted that the seven time World Best player would win the tournament which ends this weekend in Qatar.
