It was a night to remember for two Nigerian international artistic communicators, the Ebinum brothers, as American rap icon, Kendric Lamar, closed the Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom with an epic performance.

Lamar who made a guest appearance on the final day of the five-day music festival closed the show with a historic protest against the US Supreme Court’s withdrawal of abortion rights.

Described as “a forceful end to a theatrical performance that was unlike anything the festival has ever witnessed,” by the BBC, Lamar who had blood pouring down his face from a crown of thorns proclaimed: “Godspeed for women’s rights. They judge you, they judge Christ.”

But amidst Lamar’s powerful performance, Victory Ebinum and Marvel Ebinum showed up like the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).

Born and raised in Lagos Nigeria, the Ebinum brothers are artistic communicators, models and actors.

Dressed in white shirts and black pants with an onion-colour tinted hair, the Ebinum brothers performed alongside the 14-time Grammy Awards winner, who had a bejewelled crown of thorns, in what can be described as an epic performance.

The bejewelled crown of thorns of Lamar, who won a Pulitzer Prize for his 2017 album Damn, dripped blood down his face and spattered his shirt, according to UK Guardian.

When the track ends, he keeps rapping a capella, repeating the lines “They judge you, they judged Christ, godspeed for women’s rights” over and over again, his voice gradually growing more hoarse and enraged. Then he throws down his microphone and walks off the stage.

Reacting after the iconic show, the brothers shared their excitement on their official Instagram without forgetting their Nigerian roots.

“Just years ago in Lagos, Nigeria we were still going through a lot in life as a whole, nobody knowing who we were and last night we were on stage with the incredible @kendricklamar headlining at the Glastonbury Festival performing our original piece and truly showing who we are and what we do.

“Was such a memorable night/experience. Grateful to God and everyone involved in making this a success, and excited for the next phase in our journey.

“Huge thanks to our team and also @charmladonna and @cassidyratliff for your humility, being one of the best to work with and for an amazing experience, looking forward to more incredibly exciting things, so much love,” the Ebinum brothers captioned the post shared with their 60.3thousand followers.
