A 36-year-old man has died in Lagos State after he was mauled by two stray German shepherd.
The yet-to-be-identified victim was said to have died at the hospital from injuries sustained during the attack.
This was disclosed by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in Friday via his official Twitter account.
“A few days back at about 11:30pm, two German shepherds strayed into the street and mauled a 36 year old man. He later died in hospital. Case is ongoing. Leash your dogs! You are liable for any damage caused by your pets.” he tweeted.
He also enjoined all pet owners to ensure that their pets are well kept in order to prevent them from attacking members of the public.
